Abstract: The students to the following: the Yellow and Yangtze River, the invention of paper, the importance of silk, the teachings of Confucius, the Great Wall, and the Chinese New Year. It will utilize a variety of auditory, visual, and kinesthetic activities to explore the geographical, historical, and cultural aspects of the Ancient Chinese. Upon completion of this unit, the students will have a strong knowledge of Ancient China and how their philosophical ideas and major events have been powerful forces throughout history.
